Though Haley and Micah had crossed paths before, it was at the Republican Party of Sheboygan County booth during the county fair in September 2023 that they truly met. Haley was working when she noticed Micah walking toward her — and in that moment, it felt as if God illuminated him just for her. A deep certainty stirred in her heart: this man was meant to be in her life. Moments later, she called her mom and said, "I think I just found my husband."
As they began talking, they discovered a remarkable number of shared passions — from natural health to political and theological views. Their connection was instant and deep, filled with laughter, vulnerability, and an undeniable sense that God was weaving their lives together.
A week later, Micah asked Haley out for sushi. Afterward, he surprised her with tea, chocolate, and a sunset at the beach, where they spent hours dreaming, laughing, and simply being together. Their bond grew naturally and deeply, feeling both effortless and extraordinary.
Although drawn to each other, the timing wasn’t yet right. They gave each other space, trusting God’s timing. Between October 2023 and April 2024, they stayed connected through texts and calls, each conversation pulling them closer. Even in the quiet, God was at work, growing something beautiful.
On April 3, 2024, after a work trip, Micah invited Haley to lunch. It was during that time, as they held hands for the first time in a long time, that they both shared the same question: “Why do we keep being drawn back to each other? Why does it feel like we need each other so much?” One thing became clear to them, God had brought them together for a reason.
A week later, on April 10, Micah asked Haley to be his girlfriend. From that moment, their relationship grew quickly, rooted in prayer, laughter, and faith. They built a life of late-night talks, shared dreams, and unwavering support.
On October 18, 2024, Micah asked Haley to be his wife.
Now, looking ahead to their wedding in July 2025, they are filled with gratitude — knowing that by God's perfect design, their forever story is just beginning.
